Ten on Tuesday

1. Busy is a current understatement. I kept thinking yesterday was Tuesday!
2. Our library is doing a summer reading program and I'm excited that they are going to let Klayton participate! I think it starts Friday...
3. Saturday is a ladies brunch at church. My job is to make a breakfast casserole, any suggestions? I've never made one before.
4. Thursday my Scentsy order should arrive! It always feels like Christmas even though its not for me!
5. I watched the documentary Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead. Lets just say I really want a juicer of my own now.
6. Am I the only enjoying Happy Hour at Starbucks? The Caramel Ribbon Crunch is my new drink of choice!
7. I think Monday might be a good day to start potty training boot camp!
8. In just a couple of weeks my parents will be here for a visit and then we all get to help my nephew celebrate his first birthday.
9. Klayton was napping and then decided to fall back asleep on my lap. Sweet moments as I listen to the pitter patter of rain.

10 on Tuesday

1. I want to say, Happy Birthday to my friend BobbiJo! She turns 30 today!
2. I have kept busy unpacking and unpacking some more. Still realizing we have so much stuff.
3. Thursday we take off to Michigan. So, in the middle of unpacking I will be packing up as well!
4. Klayton is doing well. Our only road block still to conquer is his new room. He doesn't like to go to bed alone and wakes up in the night.
5. I really am tired, yet here I am in the night blogging.
6. Our van had to go see the mechanic. Because of this we have a "loaner"-a brand new truck! Needless to say, we took it out for a spin last night.
7. I'm learning, "you don't have to have it all figured out to move forward".
8. I've neglected my Scentsy biz as of late. Anyone in need of any Scentsy? Comment for information and for a good deal!
9. Another lesson I'm learning, do not let the opinions of others consume you. Usually, when a person has an opinion about you they have already made up their mind and there's no changing it.

10 on..TueWednesday

1. Excited to have my nephew David and his parents come for a visit tomorrow!
2. Excited for my sister and husband as they announced their baby news!
3. Proud of my little my boy who is beginning to really grasp the concept of potty training!
4. I really want to do a little baking! I think I will try something from Pinterest!
5. Really need some September Scentsy parties. Anyone interested in hosting an online party?! Or if you live near me hosting a home party? It WILL be SO MUCH FUN!
6. I seriously am having a hard time believing its going to be almost a hundred outside today. Thankfully, Klayton and I were able to enjoy some sun before it became scorching.
7. Last week I bought some new foundation. It's all natural/organic foundation from Origins at Younkers! I really like it and am slowly making the switch over to their whole makeup line!
8. Really in the mood to do some scrapbooking...maybe I should finish my honeymoon scrapbook!
9. Kind of in the mood to haul out my fall decorations!
10. Well, normally this is where I would say, Happy Tuesday; but it's not Tuesday! Ha! Happy Wednesday!

10 on Tuesday

1. A while back I posted about my unsettled peace about getting Klayton his MMR. I am still not a big proponent of trying to sway someone one way or another…because frankly, that’s not my place! I however, get frustrated when everywhere I turn getting kids vaccinated is being pushed down people’s throat! You now see billboards and commercials telling us to vaccinate. Even today flipping through the channels, I happened a cross a segment on Going Back to School and it was said to be sure to have your children caught up on vaccinations! The doctor that made this statement also included in his information the fact that none the less, in spite of these vaccines 5 weeks into the school year kids are still going to be getting sick. He then also admitted that last year the flu was down not because of the flu shot; but because people were focusing on washing their hands and staying home when sick-sounds like proper hygiene to me?!
2. Just 3 sales away from meeting my first goal in Scentsy! Really hoping to meet that goal by the 24th! 3. I have been working really hard at becoming a better housekeeper! Sometimes I just don’t want to do a thing; but I have been forcing myself to clean at least 10 minutes during Klayton’s nap time, if a dish is dirty load it in the dishwasher immediately, if I notice something out of place put it in its proper place while I’m thinking of it and cleaning for 10 minutes before bed! This new routine is really making a world of difference!
4. Recently I have rediscovered my love for reading! I have been reading a book a week and trying to expand my horizons! I have been staying away from fiction and reading biograhies/autobiographies!
5. I am hoping to pass my love for reading down to Klayton and I think we are heading in the right direction! Every night before bed Joseph and him read a book together and I take him to the library 2-3 times a week! And, yes he knows to be quiet in the library!
6. Oh scrapbooking how I miss you…someday soon I really hope to haul out my scrapping supplies and work on Klayton’s baby book…maybe finish up our honeymoon scrapbook!
7. Garage sale…do you think I can get one ready for this weekend?! I really need to get motivated and just do it!
8. This 10 random thoughts post is kind of becoming very lengthy!
9. I really need to go grocery shopping…don’t know what my husband will be eating when he comes home this afternoon! I used to love grocery shopping; but now it makes me cringe when I see the final total for not a lot of food and yet it feels like I’m having to scrape the bottom of my purse just to pay for it because groceries are so expensive.

1. Klayton broke my glasses this week. Oh the sadness.
2. Monday I have another Scentsy party to do! Yay!
3. It's amazing how quickly laundry dries when hung on the line in this heat.
4. Still dealing with a toothache; it only seems to be bothersome at night. This may be the reason for all the freeze pop wrappers on my night stand!
5. I love the Olympics. I find myself getting irritated with the media though. Have you noticed how they are constantly bringing up the past failures and when someone loses and is crying they ask, "how do you feel?!"
6. And another thing about the Olympics...am I the only who kind of gets grossed out at the sight of some of those men in their spandex?!

8. Somehow my child has the innate ability to find food that has fallen between couch cushions or who knows really where it was and make sure it makes it's way to his little pooch of a tummy! As I type this he's enjoying a Dorito that neither I or my husband gave him.

10 on Tuesday

1. Today I just keep thinking about baby Logan who at 4 months died yesterday. I just can't imagine being in his mommy's shoes...
2. Another toothache. Absolutely annoying.
3. I reactivated my Facebook, yes earlier than I planned. The break did me good.
4. I love Flavor Ice, or as I call it-Freezies!
5. Had my very 1st Scentsy home party last week. It went really well and I have another one on Friday. I just need to sell $600 more to reach the next consultant level-who wants to do a party for me?!
6. Klayton has learned where his nose, mouth and belly are. When he points to the nose he likes for you to say, "beep!" So funny!
7. I had tried my hand at homemade potato chips a couple weeks ago-they were really yummy. But, they needed to be more thinly sliced; I'm excited to try again with my new mandolin slicer that my MIL bought me!
8. Are you an avid Olympic games watcher? We have been enjoying the swimming events!
9. I took gymnastics when I was kid, just think if I would have stuck with it I could be an Olympic gold medalist?!

10 on Tuesday

1. Tonight is my very first home party for Scentsy! I'm excited and a little nervous!
2. Thursday my in-laws arrive for a visit.
3. Still have my toothache. It's supposed to be fixed a week from today. Can't believe I'm saying this; but wish it was today.
4. Today's agenda: laundry, clean and make myself presentable for tonight's party!
5. I haven't scrapped in forever. Cleaned my scrapbook table off last night with a longing spirit!
6. The heat, oh the heat. Makes me grateful for cool weather.
7. Tomorrow I'm going to post pics from our baking adventure this past weekend.
8. It's going to be a crazy weekend in our neighborhood. This weekend is the car show, right in front of our house.
9. Really don't like cooking right now...it's just so hot! Do you ever get that way?

1. Wow, my blogging abilities have been looking rather bleak lately.
2. The day is almost over and I feel as if I've accomplished quite a bit.

6. This past Monday, July 9th marked the 5 year anniversary of Joseph and I getting engaged!

8. Yesterday, I had a nice girls afternoon at Panera Bread and learning a new jewelry making technique!
9. I'm looking forward to some cooler weather in my future... I just wonder how far off is that future??

10 on Tuesday

1. I want to try my hand at glass etching. I already have the cream and the glass...now I just need my stencil. I want to get, Walk in My Garden cricut cartridge for that.
2. It's going to be a long week and that's all I will say about that.
3. This is my number for the week as I have 3 parties scheduled for Scentsy this month. A basket, catalog and home party! Yay!
4. I think I'm going to do a garage sale this weekend. Canton doesn't really have a newspaper, so maybe a few signs around town will do the trick??
5. I'm going to make copycat Raspberry Lemonade from the Cheesecake Factory. It's a Pinterest idea...here's to yumminess!
6. So, a few weeks ago Klayton's kiddie pool was stolen and last night our visitors had their gps stolen.
7. I'm still enjoying my Facebook sabbatical.
8. None of us really slept last night. Hate when that happens.
9. Sometimes I get really frustrated when people act like they know what is best for MY child.

10 on Tuesday

1. Yesterday I dealt with 2 hours of email frustrations as I tried to send out a mass email advertising my new Scentsy biz.
2. What made me even more frustrated than that!? When I finally had all my addresses fixed, my account became unavailable because I was apparently spamming! I get access back today.
3. Tonight is my Scentsy neighborhood launch party! I'm trying to prepare myself that I might not have any guests. So, why don't you come tonight?!!
4. Today will be spent cleaning, baking chocolate chip cookies and making cherry limeade!
5. I'm currently enjoying the breeze and current temperature of 68...it's supposed to reach 91 and I will then be enjoying the air condition.
6. Klayton woke up with gook in his eye...I will have to keep my eye on it. I'm just hoping its because he slept so hard and for so long last night.
7. With all the things I need to accomplish, I should probably get motivated...
8. Someone stole Klaytons kiddie pool from our back yard! Can you believe that? And it wasn't just one of those cheap plastic ones, it was a blow up one with a sprinkler.
9. This past weekend my parents came for a visit. It was a good time!

1. It's only Tuesday and I have already been crazy busy for the week!

3. This past weekend we went down and saw my parents and this weekend their coming to see us!

9. My Facebook sabbatical is so fun! I'm not missing it; but don't worry friends I still plan on coming back in the fall!

It's Official

10 on Tuesday

1. Last night I made homemade French fries for the 1st time. So, yes that means I peeled the potato, sliced it, seasoned and fried them myself.
2. We also pulled the grill out for the first time this summer, the burgers were yummy!
3. Ants, I have an ant problem in my kitchen. Help!
4. Today has been a very long day and that is no exaggeration!
5. Add another injury to the growing list for Klayton. This time it was a busted lip. Poor guy.
6. It's official, once I get a lil extra money I'm going to start selling Scentsy!
7. Thankful for good friends in my life who pray and are there for my family.
8. I've been dealing with an on again, off again tooth ache. Once I announce that I'm taking myself to the dentist, you will know it's serious-I hate the dentist.
9. I confess, I've spent 2 days coming up with random thoughts for this post...
